Like many engineering students, I believed that getting job interviews required strong referrals, top college tags, or extremely high CGPA. I spent months applying through job portals but received very few responses.

Everything changed when I started using LinkedIn strategically instead of passively. Within a few months, I began receiving recruiter messages, interview calls, and internship opportunities — all without referrals.

My Biggest Mistake Initially

At first, my LinkedIn profile was just a digital resume.
